I’m converting the thrust of your comment to me into an article. I hope you don’t mind, but I truly admire the mature and thoughtful way that you’ve approached this issue.

I want to thank you for the compliment, but I reject your assessment of yourself out of hand. We often make the mistake of thinking that intelligence is having the ability to do advanced math, or write the great American novel, but that’s not intelligence at all; those are skills. I offer up Dr. Ben Carson as a perfect example of my point. While it is alleged that he is a brilliant brain surgeon, he has demonstrated without a doubt that once he leaves the operating room, he can’t think his way out of a paper bag. And I know many attorneys who are the same way. I did legal research and wrote legal briefs as a private contractor for several attorneys for over 20 years, and many of them used to call ME for legal advice. And if you can believe it, Michele Bachmann is a tax attorney, and I know high school students who can think her under the table.

You, on the other hand, are fully aware of what’s going on around you politically, and you have the maturity, insight, and common sense not to engage in the knee-jerk reaction of cognitive dissonance, frustration, and anger toward those who have a different take on our current political environment than yourself. I will value your opinion, because I trust the quality of your mind and your objectivity. While I seriously doubt the position you’ve taken due to the facts in the public record, maybe there’s some things that I haven’t considered in this matter. I'm motivated by the fact that after what the Clintons have done to the Black community, somebody in the community needs to speak out against this woman, and since so many in the Black community are still mesmerized by Bill’s “first Black president” myth, it’s not happening - even the Black Congressional Caucus seems to remain bamboozled - so I decided I would do it myself.

I wrote the article below in October of 2007 when Hillary Clinton was running against the, then, Senator Barack Obama - and BEFORE I had thoroughly researched Bill Clinton's political history and how he had signed the most draconian crime bill in the history of the United States, created the prison industrial complex that led to the mass incarceration of Black people, and substituted building prisons in lieu of urban housing developments for the poor - and this is NOT just an allegation. Once he and Hillary decided that they wanted to get back into the White House, Bill went before the NAACP and apologized for it. Yet, now, in 2016, Hillary is depending on the Black community to give her the Democratic nomination to run for President of the United States. Black people were conned into giving Bill Clinton our full and passionate support after he went on the Arsenio Hall Show in dark glasses and a saxophone. We even started calling him "The First Black President." Then some of the first things he did after he was elected was cut Black people's throats by throwing Black men in prison, sending our jobs overseas, and taking away the much needed assistance of poor Black people by throwing them off of welfare, just to prove that he wasn't "soft on coons." We've been conned once, let's not be stupid enough to let it happen again. Hillary Clinton was an ardent supporter of Barry Goldwater, a man who pledged to rescind the Civil Rights Act if elected, and nothing has changed about her.As a member of the Walmart board of Directors for 6 years, she didn't lift a finger while Walmart was dragging their workers through the mud. And during the 2008 primaries Bill Clinton told Ted Kennedy of Barack Obama, "A few years ago this guy would have been carrying our bags." So if Black people do turn out to be stupid enough to give Hillary the nomination, when we start whining over the inevitable consequences, America should give us a resounding, "SHUT THE HELL UP!"

JUST BECAUSE THE NAME IS CLINTON, DOESN’T MEAN YOU’RE GONNA GET BILL (REPRISE)

I was both embarrassed and conflicted by a CBS News poll that showed Hillary Clinton leading Barack Obama 52% to 28% among Black voters. I was conflicted because my emotions seemed to directly contradict my position that the new struggle in this country is no longer about race, but class, and I stand by that position. Nevertheless, it is extremely embarrassing to know that the rest of the world has just got to being snickering over the Black tendency towards self-hatred--and let there be no doubt about it, that’s exactly what the numbers above reflect.

It is contrary to my character and antithetical to everything that I believe to suggest that anyone cast a vote based on race alone--after all, if White people voted race alone, Black politicians would never win an election outside the Black community. But it seems to me that this election, and Senator Barack Obama in particular, represents a very special circumstance. It’s a confluence of factors coming together that demand Black people to unite and assure we’re on the right side of history.

Senator Barack Obama is not just another Black politician--he’s intelligent, he’s personable, and his political instincts are flawless. In fact, his sense of class, dignity, and propriety places him so high above the rest of the pack that the other politicians don’t know what to do with him. He is so well thought of by the American people--Democrat, Republican, and Independents alike—that it is clear that he possesses that very special, JFK-like quality that could bring this nation together. I see the candidacy of Senator Obama as an opportunity—and quite possibly our last opportunity--to recapture the best of what America is as a nation, and we are as a people. I’d say, that alone, speaks volumes.

Admittedly, I’m far from one who’s qualified to speak for God, but it seems to me that considering all that Black people have suffered in this country--including being called ignorant, classless, and untrustworthy--if God handpicked the kind of man that he thought should represent our people in this country, Senator Obama would be that man. He is the walking personification of everything we know our people to be--even his heritage, the marriage of Africa and America, is a metaphor for who we are as a people. Yet he trails in the polls, among our own people, by 24%. What’s up with that?

I have no problem with Hillary--in fact, if she wins this nomination I’ll be right out there supporting her enthusiastically--right along side Barack, I’m sure. But what makes Hillary so special that we would support her over a dream that goes back as far as the African-American culture itself? The numbers mentioned above can reflect nothing less than a flaw in our character. Think about it--what do we actually know about Hillary other than she’s married to Bill? I was married to a wonderful woman for thirty-three years, yet, we were as different as night and day. So, just because the name is Clinton, doesn’t mean we’re gonna get Bill. And even if Hillary is identical to Bill, who’s to say that a President Barack Obama wouldn’t stand head and shoulders above even Bill Clinton himself? Bill was an excellent president [Man, was I in the dark!] but he was far from the Messiah.

We’ve simply got to have faith in ourselves. If we don’t, who will? If Black people don’t have faith in the fact that we are capable of producing a leader with the capacity to lead our people and this nation to a higher level of humanity and leadership in the world, why should anyone else believe in us? And if Barack Obama is not that man--with his background as the first Black president of the Harvard Law Review, his demonstrated courage to stand up against invading Iraq during a time when it was unpopular to do so, and the flawless political judgment that has propelled him to the very apex of power in a nation where all the cards were stacked against him--then what Black man (or woman, for that matter) among us is?

Some Black people seem to be actively seeking a reason not to support this man. For the lack of any other excuse, they say he lacks experience--but experience at what? Where has experience gotten us so far? Hillary Clinton has experience that goes all the way back to the Nixon era, but that didn’t prevent her from voting to give George Bush the power to take us into the most foolhardy war that this country has ever been involved. Then, after conceding that she made an error, she repeated the error in voting for the Kyle-Lieberman Amendment against Iran.

On the other hand, Obama, this so-called "political novice," had the wisdom to tell America, once again, that we were giving a man who can't be trusted a free hand to be foolhardy--once again. And now, recent revelations in the news tell us that he was right--once again. So I'd say, inexperience notwithstanding, Senator Obama seems to be batting a thousand.

The inexperienced Senator Obama also stands poised to hand control of political power back to the American people. He’s demonstrated single-handedly that the people can come together and more than compete with big business as a source of political funding. Obama has raised more money through small donations from average Americans than the "more experienced" politicians have managed to raise through their corporate masters. That means that Americans now have a fighting chance of electing politicians that are more beholden to them, than they are big business (and mark my words--you can look for big business to sponsor some sort of legislation in the future to try to close that egregious loophole) [and true to my prediction, shortly thereafter we got citizens united].

Thus, regardless to how this campaign turns out, whether Obama wins, or falls short in his effort, he’s already performed an immeasurable service to the American people by demonstrating that politicians don’t have to be beholding to big business. Someday, when all of this is looked back upon, Obama’s contribution is going to be recognized as one of the most valuable gifts to America in modern history. I’d say, that alone is a pretty impressive accomplishment for a guy with no experience. Now I ask you, what have any of the more "experienced" politicians done to change the face of American politics lately?

So the bottom line is, considering Senator Obama’s Character, political savvy, and the fact that he’s the very first viable Black presidential candidate in the history of this nation, to say that he’s not ready to be president is to say that no Black person is ready to be president of the United States. If you happen to be Black and not willing to take that position, in order to be logically consistent you have to be prepared to come up with the name of a Black person who you consider more viable and qualified to be president. If you can’t do that, you’re in denial, and on the wrong side of history.

It's hard to understand the Black community. Never in my most horrific nightmare did I ever think I’d have to mount such a self-evident argument to my own people regarding a viable Black candidate. As I sit here I imagine Martin, Malcolm, and a million slaves spinning in their graves, saying, "I died for this! What’s wrong with those idiots?" I also imagine racists of the past taunting these great men, saying, "We told you--y’all were fools."

But as sad as this situation is, it brings to mind an old joke--a very old but profound joke, so bear with me: There was a guy stranded on his roof during a flood, and the water was rising fast. In an attempt to try to save him, a group of people wanted to throw him a life preserver, but he turned it down, saying, "That’s ok. God will provide." Then they tried to save him in a boat, and later with a helicopter, but in each case he turned them down, saying, "That’s ok. The Lord will provide." Finally the water overtook him, and he drowned. Then, as the Devil was dragging him off to Hell, he looked up to God and said, "My Lord, how could desert me, and why am I going to Hell?" And God replied, "Man, I sent you a life preserver, a boat, and even a helicopter, and you refused them. You’re going to Hell because you committed suicide."

That joke is a perfect example of what’s currently happening in the Black community. We’re being given the opportunity to bring both Martin’s dream, and the prayers that our people have whispered for hundreds of years into reality--the opportunity for Black children to say for the very first time, and with conviction, that "I‘m going to be president someday." For the first time, a Black child will be able to go through life knowing that he is the master of his own destiny. And just as important as all of the things mentioned above, finally, the losers and deadbeats in the Black community won’t be able to convince Black youth that failure is acceptable, because "it’s the White man’s fault." But in spite of all of that, some of us are so consumed with self-hatred that we’d rather cut our own throats before supporting one of our own for president.

That is the reality, but if we allow this opportunity to pass us by, God would be completely justified in telling us to stop complaining and just shut-up whining about all our suffering. After all, God helps those who help themselves. ***

While we've made mistakes before, this one could literally destroy our community, and our children's future.

SENATOR BERNIE SANDERS
THIS MAN, is an American hero. For those of you who haven't taken the time to become familiar with him, his name is Bernie Sanders, and he's been fighting for the rights and dignity of Black people all of his life. He was engaged in the struggle for human dignity before many of you were born. In my recent article, Why Do I Support Bernie Sanders, I pointed out the following:

On the other hand, in 1964 Hillary Clinton was working for Barry Goldwater who pledged to abolish the Civil Rights Act if elected. And in college she not only joined, but became the PRESIDENT, of The Young Republicans.

Bill Called Trump Just Weeks Before Trump Entered
The Race and told Trump, he “was striking a chord with
frustrated conservatives and was a rising force on the right.”
Thereafter, she married the man who later created the prison industrial complex, and was DIRECTLY responsible for the mass incarceration of Black people. And if that wasn’t enough, the prison industrial complex became one of Hillary’s biggest contributors. And how’s this for gall? Now that the Clintons are trying to get BACK into the White House, Bill went before the NAACP and tried to apologize for creating the prison industrial complex in the first place.

But wait, there’s more. When Hillary was running against Barack Obama in 2008, while trying to get Ted Kennedy's support for Hillary, Bill told Kennedy, “A few years ago, this guy would have been carrying our bags.”Those are not the words of a man who has any respect, or regard, for Black people; those are the words of a Dixiecrat - a White Southern politician behind closed doors, and that's exactly what Bill is.

And then finally, in addition to all that, and much more, there's strong evidence that Hillary Clinton tried to ‘dog-whistle’ the assassination of Barack Obama when she began losing to him in 2008. That should be the main topic of discussion during this primary, but it was such an horrific and unconscionable act that people don't even want to try to wrap their heads around it. On the other hand, the Clintons are a perfect metaphor for the arrogance of wealth and power. During the time of our founding fathers, they would have represented the crown. While they have the tremendous clout of establishment backing and a long list of accomplishments, all of their accomplishments tend to benefit the wrong people. Although they talk like liberals, and act like liberals, they always seem to leave behind conservative policies that are detrimental to the average American. For example, Bill Clinton’s 1994 Crime Bill led to the mass incarceration of Black people; NAFTA rewarded corporations for sending American jobs out of the country; the Repeal of Glass-Steagall led directly to the 2008 Great Recession; The Welfare Reform Act only served to devastate many poor Black families; and finally, when Hillary joined the neocons in voting for the senseless war in Iraq, while it greatly benefitted war profiteers, it led to the death of a million Iraqis, and the death or maiming of thousands of American troops.

In addition, It has been reported that the Clinton's net worth is over $100 million, and they control the $2 billion Clinton Foundation, so they're comfortably entrenched in the very corporate culture that has the American people virtually enslaved. Even their daughter, Chelsea, is married to Marc Mezvinsky, an American investment banker, co-founder of the hedge fund, Eaglevale Partners, and he was formerly an investment banker at Goldman Sachs. So the Clintons and Wall Street are, literally, in-laws.

So I feel that Bernie deserves my support, if for no other reason than to reward him for his lifelong struggle to improve the lives of others instead of feathering his own nest. I'd be willing to bet that Bernie's one of the poorest men in the senate, and there's a good reason for that - he didn't have time to become wealthy, because he was too busy fighting for my rights as a human being, and even before I was. So that's the kind of man I want having my back in the Oval Office.
THE BLACK COMMUNITY’S BLIND LOYALTY TO THE CLINTONS REFLECTS THE ENDURING IMPACT OF OUR SLAVE MENTALITY

Hillary Clinton will never admit it, but considering she has the most powerful and well-oiled political machine in America, and Bernie Sanders is only being sustained by a passionate group of grassroots voters, his virtual tie in the Iowa Caucus and his win over her by a historic margin in New Hampshire represents a humiliating defeat. But Hillary’s not worried about that, because she intends to more than make up the difference in Nevada, South Carolina, and the various other upcoming states where there’s a large Black population . . . and therein lies our story.

Considering what both Bill, and Hillary, have done to Black people over the years, the mere fact that Hillary is so confident that she has Black people in her pocket should be an embarrassment to the entire Black community, because regardless to how sophisticated Black people try to strut around acting, or how educated or militant we talk, the Black support for Hillary Clinton is a glaring reflection of the powerful impact of an enduring slave mentality. If you ask the average Black person to tell you just one thing the Clintons have done for Black people, they wouldn’t be able to do it, and there’s a good reason for that - because the Clintons haven’t done anything for Black people. The fact is, they've much more too us than for us.

Bill Clinton secured the everlasting loyalty of many Black people by simply swaggering onto the Arsenio Hall Show in dark glasses and trying to play the saxophone - that was it. That's all he ever did for the Black community, but that seems to have been enough for many Black people. Just having a White man acknowledge our existence and pat us on the head will cause many of us to love him forever - even if he does beat us every now and then (“for our own good," of course).

And the Clintons have been doing just that every since they’ve been in the public eye - beating us mercilessly. So the Clintons have done more to promote the Republican agenda than most legitimate Republicans have ever done - and only with a smile, a swagger, a mouth full of pimp-talk, dark glasses and a saxophone. So wake up, America. Bill Clinton is the Iceberg Slim of American politics. His personal life even reflects that. That's why they call him "Slick Willie."

BILL CLINTON'S CRIME BILL
BARRY GOLDWATER ALSO VOWED TO REPEAL
THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT IF ELECTED
Bill Clinton's omnibus crime bill is a prime example of the beating that Black people have been taking from the Clintons. Every since the Nixon administration the word "crime" has been a 'dog whistle' term to mean "Black people." In spite of all of the crimes that are being committed by Wall Street executives, White criminals, and the White establishment itself, whenever a politician mentions either "crime" or "welfare," they're dog-whistling to the rest of America that they're referring to Black people. That's why one of the worst things that can be said about a White politician is that "He's soft on crime," because what that actually means is that he's soft on Black people. So Bill Clinton made absolutely sure that he'd never be accused of such a thing by signing into law HR 3355, The Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994.

In spite of the fact that the Black community embraced Clinton so passionately that they started calling him "The first Black President," shortly after assuming office he signed "the largest crime bill in the history of the United States, consisting of 356 pages providing for 100,000 new police officers, $9.7 billion in funding for prisons and $6.1 billion in funding for prevention programs which were designed with significant input from experienced police officers." The bill also allocated $4 billion to all states that would adhere to it's provision to make violent criminals serve 85% of their sentences before being considered for parole, but some states mandated that all prisoners be required to meet that standard.

Ben Collins reported in The Daily Beast that Jeremy Travis, former director of the National Institute of Justice (the research arm of the Department of Justice), said that “The pieces of the bill that Joe Biden is most closely identified with have generally been very well accepted. The Violence Against Women Act [also included in the bill] has been acknowledged by everybody as a tremendous influence . . . The parts of the bill that put more people in prison in our country—that’s a Republican part of the bill. The part that I’m on record being critical of is funding states to increase the length of sentences.” Travis went on to say, “Mandatory prison sentences intensified enforcement of drug laws, and long sentences contributed not only to overall high rates of incarceration, but also especially to extraordinary rates of incarceration in black and Latino communities.”

In Bill Clinton's statement on crime during his 1994 State Of The Union Address he specifically targeted the Black and Hispanic communities by dog-whistling
Dixie. He said the following:
. "Many years ago, when I started out in public life, I was the attorney general of my State. I served as a Governor for a dozen years. I know what it's like to sign laws increasing penalties, to build more prison cells, to carry out the death penalty. I understand this issue.And it is not a simple thing. First, we must recognize that most violent crimes are committed by a small percentage of criminals who too often break the laws even when they are on parole. Now those who commit crimes should be punished. And those who commit repeated violent crimes should be told, "When you commit a third violent crime, you will be put away, and put away for good; three strikes and you are out . . .
. "I think you know that to really solve this [crime] problem, we'll all have to put our heads together, leave our ideological armor aside, and find some new ideas to do even more. And let's be honest, we all know something else too: Our problems go way beyond the reach of Government. They're rooted in the loss of values, in the disappearance of work, and the breakdown of our families and our communities."

Here Clinton is specifically referring to, or 'dog-whistling,' about the Black and Hispanic community. One must ask, what about white-collar crime, is that the result of "thedisappearance of work, and the breakdown of our families and our communities" as well? No it's not. Then who is he talking about? Black people, of course, but instead of simply saying it, he's dog-whistling it. And thereafter, Clinton teamed up with the Republican Party to produce the biggest, most abusive, and lopsided crime bill in this nation's history, and created yet another kind of crime - but the kind of crime they approved of - the creation of the private prison industry, Black concentration camps, and the mass incarceration of Black people.

But now that Hillary is trying to get them back into the White House, here comes Bill again, going to the NAACP apologizing, and saying he made a mistake. But where was that apology over the last 16 years before Hillary decided to run for president? And if he was so sorry about it, why was the Prison Industrial Complex one of Hillary's biggest donors before she distanced herself from them after declaring her candidacy? But nevertheless, when Bill came, hat-in-hand, asking for forgiveness, here comes John Lewis, Gregory Meeks, and the Congressional Black Caucus running to the Clintons' side like Pavlov's dog after hearing the dinner bell. It's not only embarrassing, but disgusting. It's reminiscent of a scene right out of Django.

"I signed a [crime] bill that made the problem worse. And I want to admit it," Clinton said at the 106th NAACP National Convention, which concluded Wednesday in Philadelphia. "In that bill, there were longer sentences, and most of these people are in prison under state law, but the federal law set a trend. And that was overdone; we were wrong about that."

THE MENA, ARKANSAS CONNECTION
So the irony of the Clinton crime bill, their connection to the private prison industry, and the mass incarceration of Black people for drug violations is Bill's own connection with the grossly illegal operation that flooded the Black community with crack cocaine in the first place. So he was involved in creating a problem, made the Black community pay for it, and then benefited from our misery.

A CASH COW FROM A LOVING HUSBAND, AT THE EXPENSE OF THE BLACK COMMUNITY
Thus, when dealing with either Bill, or Hillary Clinton, dog whistling is a concept that the voting public would do well to become very familiar with, because it's the most formidable weapon in the Clinton political arsenal, and they both use it prolifically - they have to in order to play both ends against the middle. It allows them to say one thing to us, while sending an altogether different message to their corporate cronies at one and the same time.

It has been reported that the Clinton's net worth is well over $100 million (some report over $200 million). They also control the $2 billion Clinton Foundation, so they're comfortably entrenched in the very corporate culture that has the American people virtually enslaved. Even their daughter, Chelsea, is married to Marc Mezvinsky, an American investment banker, co-founder of hedge fund Eaglevale Partners, and was formerly an investment banker at Goldman Sachs. So the Clintons and Wall Street are, literally, in-laws.
. So Black people, don't allow yourselves to be played - for a second time. These people don't care nothing about you; they just need your vote, to finish enslaving America.
THE CONGRESSIONAL BLACK CAUCUS’ ENDORSEMENT OF HILLARY CLINTON IS OUTRAGEOUS, AND IT SIGNALS THAT IT'S TIME FOR THEM TO BE REPLACED
When I first heard that the Congressional Black Caucus had endorsed Hillary Clinton, I couldn't believe my ears. And yes, I said the Congressional Black Caucus. The debate over whether or not every member of the caucus agreed with the PAC's endorsement of Hillary Clinton is nothing but a political ploy. It merely provides establishment-entrenched Black politicians a backdoor to escape having to account for what is clearly an unconscionable act of political betrayal - or, in other words, politics as usual. If that's not the case, every member who disagrees with Hillary's endorsement should stand up and express why.
. "Sanders helped found the Progressive Caucus as a member of the House in 1991 and is currently the only member of the caucus from the Senate. The group, which started with six members, has grown into the largest caucus in the Democratic conference with 76 members." Where was Hillary when she was in the senate?

These politicians have obviously been in Washington too long. They've bought into the political assumption that the people are stupid - well, some of us are, but not all of us. So this clumsy ploy could turn out to be a good thing. First, we can now find out once and for all who actually controls the Congressional Black Caucus, the caucus members themselves, or a group of self-serving lobbyists; secondly, if this is a dirty political trick hatched by Clinton operatives to mislead the voters, it could backfire if individual caucus members who disagree with this endorsement step forward and say so in no uncertain terms. It's time that the voters begin to demand that we stop being treated like idiots and assume our rightful place, as the employers of these politicians, not their mindless sheep. And it's also time for us to start getting rid of those politicians who don't know the difference - starting with CBC PAC Chairman, Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-NY).

What on Earth could these people possibly be thinking!!!? With this one act, they’ve shown themselves to be puppets of the establishment and of absolutely no use to the Black community. So we should vote every one of them out of office and replace them with people who have sense enough to realize that it was Bill Clinton who created the Prison Industrial Complex, signed NEFTA into law, that not only made it possible, but financially advantageous for corporations to send American jobs out of the country. He also repealed the Glass-Steagall Act that led directly to the Great Recession of 2008. And if that wasn't enough, Hillary tried to ‘dog whistle’ the assassination of Barack Obama during the 2008 primaries. So what kind of fools are these, who would endorse such a person!!!?

HILLARY WAS OUT CAMPAIGNING FOR BARRY GOLDWATER WHO PLEDGED TO REPEAL THE CILVIL RIGHTS ACT.
Bill and Hillary Clinton are clearly Republicans in drag. When Bernie Sanders was out marching with Martin Luther King, Hillary Clinton was working for Republican Barry Goldwater, who pledged that if elected he would repeal the Civil Rights Act. And Hillary’s conservative predisposition could also be observed in her behavior during her first high-profile position on the Board of Directors of Walmart.

During the six years that Hillary was in that position Walmart was undercutting labor unions, paying their workers slave-like wages, and discriminating against women by paying them less than they paid men for doing the same job, and Hillary didn’t say a word. The reason for that was simple - it wasn’t convenient for her to speak out at the time. Speaking out on behalf of women and the working class wouldn’t do anything to promote her ambition. It was a zero sum gain, and Hillary is not motivated by conviction; she's motivated by self-interest. But all of a sudden - now that she needs the votes of the working class - she’s trying to portray herself as a gladiator for the people, but that’ll only last until she gets into office. Then it’ll be business as usual - paying back political favors (like the $25,000 campaign donation that she received from Walmart to just "explore" the possibly of running), and building up future credits with other corporate elites for her next campaign.

A NO NO-LOSE SITUATION FOR THE CORPORATE ELITE
According to a Washington Post report in August of 2015, Bill Clinton and Donald Trump had a private phone call weeks before Trump got in the presidential race, in which the former president reportedly “encouraged” Trump’s political efforts. The report by Robert Costa and Anne Gearan indicated that people close to Trump and Clinton confirmed that the two men spoke some time in May of 2016. It went on to say:

"Trump took the call from his office in Trump Tower in New York, according to the four allies, who requested anonymity because they are not authorized to speak publicly. The call came as Trump was making a final decision about whether to run, and he was candid about his political ambitions and his potential interest in seeking the White House during the talk, these allies said. The 42nd president listened intently and then analyzed Trump’s prospects and his desire to rouse the GOP base, the Trump allies said. "The tone of the call was informal, and Clinton never urged Trump to run, the four people said. Rather, they said, Clinton sounded curious about Trump’s moves toward a presidential bid and told Trump that he was striking a chord with frustrated conservatives and was a rising force on the right."

And finally, during her 2008 campaign against Obama, while trying to get Ted Kennedy’s support, it was reported by the New Yorker that Bill Clinton said to Kennedy regarding Barack Obama, "A few years ago, this guy would have been carrying our bags." True progressives don’t talk like that. He was sounding just like a White Southern politician behind closed doors - which is exactly what he was, and is - dark glasses and saxophone notwithstanding. They don't call him "Slick Willie" for nothing.

So one of two things have to be in play with these Congressional Black Caucus members - either they’ve become so comfortable with their huge salaries, perks, and prestige that they’ve lost sight of what’s going on around them, or they’ve been corrupted to the point that feathering their own nest has become more important to them than protecting the interest of the Black community. But either way, it’s time for them to go.

AND WHAT'S A "NEW DEMOCRAT?"
Once Hillary Clinton became desperate over her all but certain loss to Barack Obama in the 2008 primaries, she began to continually allude to the assassination of Robert Kennedy during the 1968 primary. She kept repeating that "Calling all wingnuts!" 'dog whistle' as justification for why she didn't simply get out of the race.

But the mere mention of this episode seem to drive Clinton supporters up the wall. They say it’s "water under the bridge," and others try to make light of it as though I’m some sort of crazy conspiracy theorist - "Was Hillary also responsible for the sinking of the Lusitania, and by the way, where's her birth certificate?" But the fact is, this issue is not funny, and it can't just be fluffed off as water under the bridge. It should be seriously examined, because it strongly suggests that there's a very dark sociopath lurking beneath Hillary’s public facade.

What made Hillary's remarks seem much more malevolent than a simple gaffe was, as pointed out in a Keith Olbermann commentary below, someone had obviously told her that her mention of the word "assassination" was inappropriate, since Sen. Obama had been receiving death threats every since the day he threw his hat in the ring to run for president, so Hillary stopped using the word - temporarily. But as her situation became more dire and it was all but certain that she was going to lose to Sen. Obama, she began using the word "assassination" again.

And later, on May 11th 2008, while appearing on Meet The Press, Hillary’s campaign chairman, Terry McAuliffe, made the same kind of statement to Tim Russert. He said that in order for Hillary to win the nomination "something big" would have to happen. Then Russett asked, "An act of God, or something catastrophic?", and he said, "Yes, something big would have to happen–absolutely."

So how much farther did they have to go, say, "Calling all wingnuts! If somebody - ANYBODY - doesn't hurry up and kill this guy America could end up with a Black man for president!!!?"

So why did President Obama make Hillary his Secretary of State? That’s very simple. Obama had the good sense to understand that he needed to heal the rift within the Democratic Party so he threw her a bone. But while Bill was pushing for Hillary to be made Vice President, Obama had much better sense than to place her one heartbeat away from the presidency, because there’s one thing Barack has never been accused of, and that’s being a fool.

But this episode clearly shows that Hillary Clinton would do ANYTHING, no matter how horribly unconscionable, to appease her own ambition, and that's not a good thing in any leader. It also shows that while Hillary saw fit to change her party to accommodate her ambition, she’s more than managed to maintain her Republican instincts - she has absolutely no hesitation to play dirty politics, and she also lacks a sense of limits. Those are distinctly Republican traits.

Hillary is quoted as saying, "I’ve gone from Barry Goldwater Republican to a new Democrat, but I think my underlying values has remained pretty constant; individual responsibility and community. I don’t see those as being mutually inconsistent."

AND THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HILLARY CLINTON IS -
PART OF THE PROBLEM
That sounds innocuous enough - who can be against personal responsibility and community? But it’s actually politispeak, a coded message to her corporate supporters that says, "the people are on their own." Those exact words - "individual responsibility and community" - are a major part of the Republican mantra; they could have come from the mouth of Paul Ryan. It's a coded slander of Black people (like "welfare queen"), and it implies that anyone who expects government assistance - like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, veterans benefits or extended unemployment insurance - lacks personal responsibility. But what about corporate responsibility? "About $59 billion is spent on traditional social welfare programs. $92 billion is spent on corporate subsidies. So as is clearly demonstrated in this very article, one should listen to Hillary Clinton very carefully, because she's always been big on subliminal messaging, and she’s extremely condescending toward the average American. She thinks we’re dumb, and unfortunately, many of us are. Why didn’t Hillary simply say, I’ve gone from Barry Goldwater Republican to a Democrat? Instead she said a "NEW Democrat." It’s quite simple - because in the code of politispeak they have two very different meanings. So what does Hillary mean by a "new Democrat?" I took the time to look it up for its exact meaning:

According to Wikipedia, "New Democrats, also called Centrist Democrats, Clinton Democrats, Moderate Democrats, or Neoliberal Democrats, is an ideologically centrist faction within the Democratic Party that emerged after the victory of Republican George H. W. Bush in the 1988 presidential election . . . The New Democrat Coalition is a Congressional Member Organization within the United States Congress made up of Democrats who support an agenda that the organization describes as moderate and pro-growth." .
So it's Hillary's intent to come over from the Republican Party and redefine what it means to be a Democrat. She wants to push the party to the right so it will be more accommodating to the corporate agenda (or 1%ers), which also means, less accommodating to the people. Isn't that already the problem? Most liberals prefer the old Democrats, like Ted Kennedy and, yes, Bernie Sanders, who fight for the people. So liberal Democrats need to send a clear and unequivocal message by using the primaries to get rid of these so-called "New Democrats," because all they are, are just like Hillary - Corpora-Crats feigning to be Democrats in Democratic districts.

The fact is, both Bill, and Hillary, are Republicans in drag - and they always have been. While they talk and act liberal, whenever they walk away, they always tend to leave Republican policies behind, like NAFTA, that laid the foundation to outsource American jobs. They also managed to cut the throats of many poor Black, and White, welfare recipients and unskilled workers while in office.

"Clinton has been heavily criticized for overseeing the creation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), which made it more affordable for manufacturing companies to outsource jobs to foreign countries and then import their product back to the United States. This policy caused a significant decrease in the amount of unskilled jobs in the United States." But When Clinton signed NAFT into law (with a Republican majority), he said, "NAFTA means jobs. American jobs, and good-paying American jobs. If I didn't believe that, I wouldn't support this agreement" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_American_Free_Trade_Agreement). Nevertheless, we see how it turned out.

So the fact is, Hillary, just like Bill, cannot be trusted. At the very least, she’s a fiscal conservative, and the only thing that she truly cares about is her own unquenchable ambition. Her every action is staged to manipulate "the little people," and if you pay close attention, you'll notice that even when she laughs it sounds forced and disingenuous.

Consider this. At seventeen years old she was working for the Barry Goldwater campaign, who pledged that if elected he would abolish the Civil Rights Act. Then in college she was not just a member of the "Young Republicans," she was their PRESIDENT!

Hillary supporters claim that’s all irrelevant. They claim that she was only a child at the time. But when carefully considered, that makes it even more relevant. A teenager generallymerely "leans" toward a particular political philosophy, but not Hillary. Hillary was so dedicated to the conservative Republican philosophy that she actually got involved in Barry Goldwater’s campaign before she was even old enough to vote, and then later in college - while most left-leaning students were demonstrating against the Vietnam war, and protesting for Civil and women’s rights - she was the president of the "Young Republicans." That not only showed a deep commitment, but a deep dedication to conservatism.

Her supporters also try to fluff that off by saying, "Well, people change." While that may be true, people rarely change a commitment that is as deeply ingrained in them as the commitment that Hillary demonstrated toward Republicanism. One’s politics is much like one's religion - most people carry their predisposition to the grave, and there are many indications that Hillary is also doing just that, like joining forces with the neocons in her support for the invasion of Iraq, and her appeal to the "hard-working White people" during her 2008 campaign against Obama,and her cozy relationship with the corporate 1%ers. In addition, during her 2008 campaign against Obama, while trying to get Ted Kennedy’s support, it was reported by the New Yorker that Bill Clinton said to Kennedy regarding Barack Obama, "A few years ago, this guy would have been carrying our bags." So has Hillary Clinton really changed since her younger days of Republican activism? I don’t think so. I think that as an ambitious young woman of the sixties she saw what direction the wind was blowing. Thereafter, she made the cynical decision to switch parties in order to accommodate her ambition - Period.
