DONALD TRUMP AND JIM CROW’S DYING GASP

Beneath the Spin*Eric L. Wattree

EXCELLENCE IS THE KEY TO BLACK EQUALITY

DONALD TRUMP

AND

JIM CROW’S DYING GASP

Conservatives have been in revolt mode ever since the election of Barack Obama. And Obama's success as President made the situation even worse. Trump's inability to measure up to President Obama made the situation intolerable for those who based their self-image on cultural superiority rather than personal accomplishment, because it contradicts the very foundation of White supremacy.
.

It was Donald Trump's inability to compete with Obama that led to "The Big Lie", the insurrection, the growing attacks on non-Whites throughout the nation, and the over 361 voter suppression laws proposed by Republicans in 47 states. It's a simple matter of radicalized conservatives lashing out in fear and desperation over a changing America.
.
In the eyes of bigoted conservatives, Trump's inability to compete with Obama not only debunked their claim of White
superiority, but constituted the ultimate assault on the nation’s White supremacist tradition - and the fact that Trump lost the 2020 election to the former subordinate of Barack Obama only served to poured salt in the wound.

Donald Trump and his radicalized conservative followers are the products of desperation, a sense of entitlement, and insecurity. As a direct result of Trump’s father paving his way throughout life, Donald never had to develop the knowledge, competence, and common sense that most of us had to develop just to survive in life. That resulted in his becoming an insecure, intellectually deprived, and highly flawed individual – and he knows it. For that reason, his entire life has been dedicated to desperately hiding his shortcomings, which accounts for his braggadocious and over-the-top personality. Everything about him is a fraud.
.

And Trump supporters suffer from the very same insecurities and fear of the loss of entitlement that Trump does. But in their case, their entitlement wasn't the result of wealth, but of White privilege. So both Donald, and his followers, are desperate to avoid having to compete on a level playing field, because then, their many shortcomings would be revealed. Clear evidence of their insecurity in this area is reflected in their chant that "You won't replace us."
.
So Trump and his supporters have a symbiotic relationship and an unshakable bond. They’re both desperate to hold on to an undeserved stature in society, and they're willing to stage a revolt against the United States to do it.

Having to compete on a level playing field, and possibly not being able to measure up to non-Whites would be a fate worse than death. Trump knows that for a fact, due to his experience with Barack Obama. So Trump and his followers have a common cause, and while Trump is unwilling to give-up his own life (because he's a coward), he's more than willing to fight to his supporters' last breath in defense of their cause. That's what makes them so dangerous - Trump is ruthless, and his supporters are dumb.

Thus, the current situation provides the perfect opportunity for a demagogue to exploit conservative anger for his own selfish interests. That's exactly what we saw in our nation's Capitol during Trump's first desperate attempt to save face. So as we speak, a humiliated Donald Trump is currently at his Mar-a-Lago retreat contemplating the most effective way to further exploit conservative anger and insecurity to bring this nation to its knees.

.

Trump is much too childishly petulant to simply lick his wounds and disappear, because that would validate what he's been trying to hide all of his life, that he's a loser and a fraud. So as we saw in his mindless attack on Mitch McConnell, at this point it's all about payback, along with his refusal to accept the fact that the American people found him lacking as a President.
.
So in spite of all the evidence in the world that he's lying, and not one shred of evidence to support his claim of election fraud, Trump continues to insist that he won the last election by
a landslide. The reason for that is Trump is trying to save face, because he lacks the class and maturity to lose with grace. So Trump is only thinking about Donald Trump. He's much too self-serving, immature, and intellectually deprived to care about America. It's just not his nature.
.

PREDICTION OF TRUMP CLAIM OF ELECTION FRAUD IF HE LOSES ELECTION COMES TRUE.

TRUMP PLANS COUP IF HE LOSES THE ELECTION

In addition, Donald Trump has the clouded judgment and intellectual maturity of an 8-year-old, so he was undoubtedly on the phone encouraging insurrection just like he encouraged Georgia election officials to overthrow the election. So he knows that if he doesn't disrupt the system, it's just a matter of time before the investigators get one of his "Proud Boys" conspirators to flip and make the direct connection between himself and the insurrection, and that seems to be on the burner as we speak.
.
But even without "smoking gun" evidence, there's already enough evidence to prosecute Trump, and since the equally self-serving Republican Party lacks the backbone to put him in check, it’s time to treat him like the geriatric child he is. So in the interest of justice, accountability, and the best interest of the nation - and also to send an unequivocal message to his mindlessly insurrectionist followers - it’s past time to slap Donald's hands and send him to his room – the United States Federal Prison System.
Anything less would serve to irreparably weaken our democracy.

IF DONALD TRUMP DOESN’T GO TO PRISON FOR TRYING TO OVERTHROW OUR GOVERNMENT, THE NEXT DEMAGOGUE MAY HAVE THE BRAINS TO SUCCEED

IF DONALD TRUMP DOESN’T GO TO PRISON FOR TRYING TO OVERTHROW OUR GOVERNMENT, THE NEXT DEMAGOGUE MAY HAVE THE BRAINS TO SUCCEED

If America turns a blind eye to Donald Trump’s attempt to overthrow our government, and allow him to walk away with impunity – or casually drive away in his golf cart - the next demagogue may be smart enough to pull it off. Thus, America should leave no stone unturned to send Donald Trump to prison for the rest of his life.

.
We wouldn’t be facing this national crisis if we'd used our common sense in the past. But when we failed to send Richard Nixon to prison for his crimes during Watergate; and Ronald Reagan to prison for colluding with the Iranians to continue to hold American citizens hostage until after he won the election, and then flooding the inner cities with crack cocaine to finance his war in Nicaragua; and George W. Bush for lying us into Iraq and torturing prisoners; and Dick Cheney for outing a CIA agent, we set a precedent that indicates if you’re rich and powerful enough, you’re above the law.
.
While we like to say that no one is above the law, it's just not true. If it were, Donald Trump would be in jail as we speak, and that’s the source of our current problem - the rich and powerful know they’re free to pursue their self-interests with impunity, and they all tend to be Republicans.

.

A Black Georgia legislator was dragged off to jail and charged with two felonies for simply knocking on a door, but with Donald Trump, we’re faced with the most glaring case of sedition against the United States in our history. Yet, Trump's strutting around Mar-A-Lago, playing golf and assuming the role of mover-and-shaker with absolute impunity. Trump has proven himself to be one the most pernicious, completely flawed, and thoroughly malevolent individuals alive today. So he should be in chains, not basking in luxury and playing golf.

"THE BIG LIE" TO INCITING INSURRECTION

DONALD TRUMP IS A DOMESTIC ENEMY
AND WE CAN'T AFFORD TO IGNORE IT
.

Slate recently reported in its article, A New Report Adds Evidence That Trump Was a Russian Assetthat Trump "helped Putin manipulate the U.S. election in 2020, as he did in 2016." The article goes on to say, "Donald Trump was a tool in a long-running Russian campaign to weaken the United States. That’s been documented in Republican-led investigative reports, and now it has been updated with new evidence, thanks to the U.S. Intelligence Community’s assessment of the 2020 election. The report, drafted by the CIA, the FBI, and several other agencies, was released in unclassified form on Tuesday, but it was presented in classified form on Jan. 7. In other words, it was compiled, written, and edited during Trump’s administration. It destroys his lies about the election, and it exposes him as a Russian asset."
.

Trump knew they were on to him. That's why he fired FBI Director Comey, and placed our entire intelligence community on his enemies list - he was even thinking like a Russian. Go to YouTube and notice how humble Trump is around Putin. He acts like an obedient child when he's around Putin. There's not a sign of his usual arrogance and bluster. He presents the perfect image of a subordinate in the presence of a superior. So much so, in fact, that it's an embarrassment to the United States.
.
As I pointed out in Trump And The Republican Party Represent A Portrait In Fascism, Donald Trump will do anything to attain and maintain power, and he undoubtedly had delusional visions of joining Putin in ruling the world. That's why he's so hostile towards China, while so oblivious to all the atrocities committed by Putin - including completely ignoring the fact that Putin place a bounty on the head of our troops.

.
That's also why he tried to establish a secret "back-channel" link of communication with Russia. He tried it twice - once through Jared Kushner, and a second time using Erik Prince in a secret meeting in the Seychelles. The reason for that is China and our own intelligence community was Putin and Trump's only obstacles to world domination - at least, as Trump saw it. That also explains why he tried to get the intelligence community to declassify their intelligence for former Attorney General Bill Barr to do a so-called investigation. He wanted to see how much they knew.
.

Donald Trump has been a Russian asset for years. Even while he was running for office in 2016 he lied to the American people. He said that he didn't have any business dealings in Russia, even while he was in negotiations with Vladimir Putin to build a Trump Tower in Moscow. The only chink in the deal was President Obama had placed sanctions on Russia making it against the law for Americans to do business with the Russians.

.
Thus, when Trump's deluded followers attacked the nation's Capitol, they were dead serious, and clearly out to overthrow our government. Clear evidence of that was the fact that they came prepared with combat gear, bear spray, and police zip ties to take legislators prisoner. You don’t bring that kind of gear to a peaceful demonstration. They knew Trump’s intent when they showed up. Bombs had been placed next to the House and senate buildings the night before, but they didn't go off. And Trump encouraged their mindset when he told them to show up. He tweeted,
"Big protest in D.C. on January 6th. Be there, will be wild!" What’s so “wild” about a peaceful protest?

.
Orlando Weekly reported, “The invasion of the U.S. Capitol last Wednesday was stoked in plain sight. For weeks, the far-right supporters of President Donald Trump railed on social media that the election had been stolen. They openly discussed the idea of violent protest on the day Congress met to certify the result.” And Trump continued to prime them for violence with “The Big Lie” - that the election had been stolen, even though he, and all of his cohorts, knew it was a lie.

.

Now that she’s being sued by Dominion Voting Systems for $1.3 billion, Trump’s former attorney, Sidney Powell, and the person who Trump wanted to put in charge of investigating the thoroughly debunked “election fraud”, has now admitted in court that it was a lie.

.

TRUMP ATTORNEY SIDNEY POWELL
ADMITTED IN COURT THAT CLAIMS OF
ELETION FRAUD WAS A LIE
Law & Crime reported, “Facing more than $1.3 billion in liabilities over her post-election conspiracy theories, lawyer Sidney Powell told a judge that the defamation lawsuit Dominion Voting Systems filed against her earlier this year should be dismissed because ‘no reasonable person’ could believe that her well-publicized comments about an international plot against former President Donald Trump were “statements of fact.” In other words, the people who believed Trump's claims had to be stupid.
.
Yet, even though Trump knew his claim of election fraud was a lie, he continued to make the claim in order to rile up his gullible followers. Why? I’ll tell you why - because he was using the claim to light the fuse of insurrection. He even lied to them by saying he was going to the Capitol with them, but he watched them make fools of themselves on television instead. What a manipulative and cowardly creep!

.

Another reason we know that things were going just as planned was, instead of Trump saying, “Oh, my God! This has gotten out of hand! Let me bring this to an end," he was casually making phone calls to his congressional allies as the building was being attacked.
.

CNN reported that “In an expletive-laced phone call with House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy while the US Capitol was under attack, then-President Donald Trump said the rioters cared more about the election results than McCarthy did. ‘Well, Kevin, I guess these people are more upset about the election than you are,’ Trump said, according to lawmakers who were briefed on the call afterward by McCarthy.”

.

Then, even after the insurrection failed, Trump continued to try to use “The Big Lie” to justify it. He said, "These are the things and events that happen when a sacred landslide election victory is so unceremoniously & viciously stripped away from great patriots who have been badly & unfairly treated for so long."

.
But the next day, after he began to get the negative blowback from the insurrection, in true Trump fashion, he tried to save himself by throwing his supporters under the bus. He said, "The demonstrators who infiltrated the Capitol have defiled the seat of American democracy. To those who engaged in the acts of violence and destruction, you do not represent our country. And to those who broke the law, you will pay." What a self-serving creep!

.

But if there’s any justice and/or common sense left in America, Trump will pay as well. Unless our Department of Justice is completely clueless (and I doubt that very seriously), as we speak, they're seeking a direct conspiratorial connection between Donald Trump and the insurrection - and if Trump is true to his usual incompetent pattern, it's definitely out there.
.

TWO CAPITOL POLICE OFFICERS SUE TRUMP

FOR INJURIES SUSTAINED DURING CAPITOL INSURRECTION

.

The Hill reported that "Officers James Blassingame and Sidney Hemby allege in a lawsuit filed in federal court this week that Trump riled his supporters and encouraged them to commit acts of violence against them, according to The Washington Post.

“Both United States Capitol Police Officers reported for duty on January 6, 2021, without any suspicion that they would soon become the targets of Trump’s followers,” the suit states. “The insurrectionist mob, which Trump had inflamed, encouraged, incited, directed, and aided and abetted, forced its way over and past the plaintiffs and their fellow officers, pursuing and attacking them inside and outside the United States Capitol, and causing the injuries."

.
